Role Introduction

The Marlowe Theatre is a dynamic, independent charity redefining what a regional theatre can be, combining commercial success with a powerful cultural mission at the heart of Kent. From a vibrant year-round programme of West End musicals, touring productions, drama, dance, opera music and comedy, to its growing role as a producer of large-scale tours and new work, the Marlowe brings world-class performance and bold new voices to nearly 400,000 audience members each year. The Marlowe Theatre supports new and established artists through it’s Writers' Room and Artist Network. It nurtures the next generation through its groundbreaking vocational training programmes and pioneering work with schools and through its thriving Youth Company. The Marlowe also drives significant regional impact as one of the South East’s leading cultural organisations, all achieved through an entrepreneurial model without public revenue funding.
